My flight has been canceled. What I can do?
If your flight is canceled, we offer the ability to change your booking to an alternative flight or, if you prefer, refund your ticket and request reimbursement to Iberia Express calling to the following telephone numbers.

We recommend that you do not go to the airport if your flight is canceled, without contacting Iberia Express.

Can I get a refund for my ticket unused or partially used?
Yes. We will calculate the reimbursement value, that will be paid in the same method you used to purchase your ticket.

What is the amount reimbursed me for my partially used ticket?
To calculate this amount, please contact Iberia Express.

Do I have the right to assistance?
Yes. You have the right to assistance * established by the specific legislation governing these situations.

* In rare cases, this assistance could be conditioned or limited by the availability of hotels and services, as shortage or absence could prevent the offer of such benefits. 

Do I have a right to compensation?
EC Regulation 261/2004, considers that a general strike is a factor exempting the carriers from any liability for damages.
Accordingly customers are not entitled to compensation because it is an "extraordinary circumstance" and Iberia Express cannot be considered responsible.

Can I be reimbursed the costs of alternative transportation?
If your flight was canceled and you did not use alternative transport organized by Iberia Express, you will be entitled to return the unused flight coupon. To request a refund, please contact Iberia Express.

Will I still get Avios even though I could not fly for the cancellation of my flight?
If you use your ticket for another flight with Iberia Express, you will receive the corresponding Avios.

Will I still get Avios despite having requested the reimbursement of the flight?
Once requested a refund of your ticket, you will not get reimbursed for the segment Avios.

If I bought my ticket in Business Class with Avios and finally traveled in economy class, will I get my Avios reimbursed?
Yes. Please contact your Iberia Plus service center to request the Avios difference.

My luggage has not arrived yet, how I can get updated?
Our Iberia Baggage Information Center,  can inform of its current status. You will find the phone on the receipt of the claim made at the airport, "PIR" Baggage Irregularity.
